I have attended GP plus for several years now and consulted Dr Peter Copp on a number of occasions and always been very impressed with the care and attention he has delivered. I have been using Peter and the GP Plus team since they first opened in Wemyss Place. It was such a cathartic experience to be able to sit and talk to a doctor without being pressurised for time – to simply sit, relax and talk and run through everything. What you may have thought you were going to see him about could end up covering other issues that may have been missed. This, along with the astute medical mind and experience of Peter, leads to the very best of care. I can give no better an example than my experience of meeting Peter to discuss a Liver issue and a diagnosis of iron overload. He sent me to a specialist who carried out tests, however Peter insisted on a scan being carried out despite the consultant’s view that this was quite unnecessary. He had a belief that there was something more going on and it was only after this scan that a complex tumour on my kidney was identified. I had no symptoms whatsoever and to this day, some 8 years later, I know that my life was saved by this attention to detail and incredible medical knowledge. GP Plus provide a level of medical care which is beyond anything one could expect, even from a GP Surgery without the current pressures and difficulties currently experienced by the NHS.

Dr Copp is a fantastic physician. He provides insightful diagnoses that get straight to the root of a problem. These are followed up with rapid, practical treatment plans that work alongside his network of top-notch consultants. Last year was my first experience of private healthcare and it has been an incredibly positive one. I believe Dr Copp's consultations are worth every penny. I am currently being treated for a previously undiagnosed condition that he picked up on and investigated whilst we were discussing something else. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
